Wind fish....

                              Gwyns pyskes...

 
 

           ‘Wind fish’ or in Cornish ‘gwyns pyskes’, are a variation of the original fish sculptures. First created for the Kinlochleven sculpture trail in Scotland.

           The fish are two sided, arranged on rusted steel rods so that they weather vane in the wind. Shoals can be formed in various sizes from lone fish to shoals fixed to a base or simply en-mass as a garden sculpture staked in ground.

            At night the fish catch the light, flashing and swaying as they move in the wind...
